Pregnancy Yoga with Charlotte

An embodied journey of trust, connection and growth

Pregnancy Yoga in Portsmouth

Yoga with Charlotte

I’m excited to be launching my very first Pregnancy Yoga Course in Southsea, hosted at LANO studio, from October 2026.

What is Pregnancy Yoga with Charlotte?

Pregnancy is an incredible transformation. Your body is changing daily, your emotions can feel heightened, and there’s often so much information about preparing for birth.

My approach to Pregnancy Yoga is about helping you reconnect with your own body and trust the remarkable process it’s going through.

Each class combines pregnancy-specific Yoga, mindful movement, breathing techniques and relaxation to help you:

● Build strength and stability as your body changes

● Ease common pregnancy aches and discomfort

● Improve posture and mobility

● Learn breathing techniques to support calm and relaxation

● Develop greater trust in your body and its innate wisdom

● Connect more deeply with your growing baby

● Meet other expectant parents in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Whether you’ve practised Yoga for years or you’re stepping onto a mat for the very first time, you’ll be warmly welcomed.

Bookings for this course are through LANO Yoga, but if you have any questions please do get in touch with me!

What to Expect

This is a 6-week Pregnancy Yoga course,

Over six weekly sessions we’ll explore:

● Safe, pregnancy-specific yoga suitable for all levels

● Gentle movement to support your changing body

● Breathwork to calm the nervous system

● Mindfulness practices including body awareness and guided relaxation

● Time to pause, reflect and connect with your baby

My hope is that you leave each class feeling stronger, calmer and more confident—not only in your yoga practice, but in yourself.

Why this course means so much to me

This course feels especially meaningful because it has grown from my own teaching journey.

Long before I trained as a Pregnancy Yoga teacher, I was watching pregnant students navigate mixed-level classes and wondering how I could better support them. I wanted to create a space where they didn’t have to worry about what was safe and where they could ask questions freely.

For me, Pregnancy Yoga isn’t about perfect poses or preparing for a “perfect” birth. It’s about cultivating trust, connection and self-compassion. It’s about giving yourself permission to slow down, appreciate everything your body is doing and embrace this remarkable chapter of life.
